Sydney and Barley had such fun swimming in the lake today! And then they had a bath...
We first began exploring RV travel in late 2009 and immediately fell in love with this freewheeling lifestyle. Over the next four years, we slowly transformed our affairs so we could travel fulltime in a rolling home. The final step was selling our home in August 2014 so we could move into our RV and begin this wonderful new chapter in our lives. This Blog is a journal of our travels and adventures, with an occasional "life" observation thrown in for good measure.

Tuscon, AZ - Celia Gets a Check-Up
Our cat, Celia, was due to have her 6-month wellness checkup, so we made an appointment and took her to a nearby Banfield Pet Hospital today. We use Banfield Pet Hospitals for our animal care for two primary reasons:
(2) Banfield Pet Hospitals can be found in most states in the lower 48, and their patient records are all connected. So just about anywhere we go, we can take our animals to a nearby Banfield Pet Hospital for check-ups, and get their medications refilled.
It is also convenient that most Banfield Pet Hospitals are located inside PetSmart stores and have convenient evening and weekend hours.
We dropped Ms Celia off around 8:30AM this morning and picked her up this afternoon, when we got back to Tuscon from visiting the Biosphere 2. As expected, she is healthy but about 25% overweight; this was not a newsflash for us - she tends to "overflow" when she lays down. Lol! Anyway, we listened to some tips from the VetTech about food changes and how to better control her eating habits. We'll give it a shot and see if we can get the old girl slimmed down.
I suspect Celia will not be appreciative of the upcoming dietary changes!
