Our Rolling Home

Our rolling home is a 35-foot 2004 National RV Dolphin LX 6342 motor home. This Class A motor home is built on a Workhorse 22 chassis, and powered by an GM Vortec 8.1L engine with an Allison transmission. The Dolphin handles well, and has more than enough power.

The Dolphin provides very comfortable living space with just about all the comforts of home: air conditioning, propane furnace, heat pump, hot water, entertainment system with flatscreen Smart TV, DVD, and surround sound, etc. We have an 80-gallon fresh water tank, a 60-gallon grey water tank, and a 47-gallon black water tank. The motor home is also equipped with an on-board 7KW Onan generator.

The kitchen includes a 2-door fridge with freezers and icemaker, 3-burner stove top, convection oven/microwave combination unit, double sink, ceramic tile, and Corian counter tops.

The Dolphin also has two slide-outs, one in the lounge/living area and one in bedroom. When they are extended, these slide-outs create a lot of living space. When they are not extended, living space is cramped but still usable.

The bedroom has a full-size walk-around queen bed, ample wardrobe space, cabinets and drawers. We have more than enough space for clothes, etc.

The bathroom  is smallish but still very functional - it has a porcelain commode, ceramic tile floor, shower, medicine cabinet, drawers, etc.

  1. This beautiful is exponentially nicer than our house, and much more pleasurable to be in. I totally enjoyed my visit with you all and your other friends before you "set sail."
